We are currently seeking a professional, quality master mechanic to help maintain a medium size ground transportation fleet containing: diesel engines & gasoline engines.
Job Duties:
- Complete range of auto maintenance and repair specialties including: Engine Work (Diesel & Gas), Brakes (Traditional & Air Brakes), Steering & Suspension Systems, Heating & AC Systems, Welding, Electrical, Charging systems, Sound, electronics, invertors, Interior LED & other Lighting with other accessories, Local video & Audio systems in vehicles, Light line maintenance on all vehicles, Tires, Custom work, and more.
- Complete DOT inspections and maintain current DOT and insurance records for the fleet
- The fleet: The majority of the fleet are Ford vehicles with several, Chrysler, Detroit, 2 GMC & Mercedes Sprinters. We have Livery Sedans & SUVs, Vans , Stretch Limousines (both sedan & SUV bodies), Mini Coaches, Limo Coaches, Cummins/Freightliner, trolley, etc.
The ideal candidate will be:
- ASE Certified Automotive mechanic a plus or a lot of experience to fix just about anything in our industry.
- Excellent at accurately diagnosing issues (Master Mechanic a Plus)
- A creative thinker and problem solver who is willing to learn.
- Very independent, organized mechanic with good experience and vast knowledge in our industry and a leader, keeping up on current trends.
- One who works well with little supervision and manages time well.
- One with a great attitude who likes to have fun in a family business while working in a fast-paced environment
- A team-player who interacts professionally with our suppliers, chauffeurs, & occasional customer that may drop in.
- Maintains a clean and organized department

- Available to work evenings and/or weekends, as needed.
- Experience with custom built QVM or MC vehicles.
- Great Spirit and enjoys accomplishment.
Applicant Requirements:
- Experience and be well rounded for DOT commercial vehicles / buses with detailed record keeping.
- Previous medium to light line shop experience, as we do everything to keep the fleet well-maintained & running
- Current DOT Health Card, CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements
- Supply own tools
- Complete and pass a background check and drug screening

Compensation:
- Excellent pay for a top shelf, hard-working mechanic. Pay based on experience.
- Annual Bonus based upon performance
