Overview
The Service Dispatcher will reports to the Service Dispatch Manager. This position supports sales and operations departments with all administrative functions. This position dispatches service calls for the Branch customers. The role Administrative Service Dispatcher requires strong communication skills and attention to detail and accuracy. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the drive and ability to exceed customer expectations.
This role is Monday through Friday 10:00-7:00pm CST.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, schedule, and book jobs for all residential and small business installs.
- Manage all branch box sales, check in freight and deliveries, and order parts.
- Manage technician schedules to ensure timeliness of scheduled calls.
- Create job packets for installs.
- Ensure efficient flow of paperwork and reports.
- Work as a liaison between the operations manager and the branch employees.
- Work as a liaison between the branch office and Interface home office.
- Audit paperwork for accuracy and content; Assist in keeping current job list accurate before it is pushed over to Sales Order Entry Team.
- Gather all required paperwork and information for closing tickets and send to branch closeouts.
- Assist in other general administrative duties that arise.
- Maximize branch productivity through the use of Word and Excel.
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite especially word and Excel.
- Prior work experience as a dispatcher in the security industry, preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, quality of work, and customer service.
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to handle multiple tasks/responsibilities under pressure.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with others and contribute to a positive team/work environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
