Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team! As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, ordering, and scheduling and training new cooks. Strong collaboration skills with bar manager is a must! You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all meals are prepared with high quality and adhering to food safety standards.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate to plan and execute menus for special events
- Assist with meal preparation for large groups
- Monitor inventory levels and order
_Schedule and train kitchen staff
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Manager preferred but will train the right candidates who have a lot of kitchen experience
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
