Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides/Caregivers to join our team at HandsWLove. As a HandswLove Home Health Aide/Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. Duties:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with light meals preparation
- Light Housekeeping/ Laundry/ Grocery shopping
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status
- Support individuals with memory care needs, dementia care, and hospice care
- Accompany patients as needed to medical appointments
- Medication Reminders
Requirements:
- Positive and Approachabe Personality
- 2+ years experience providing care to medical needed indivdual(s)
- Knowledge of long-term care practices
- Ability to make sound decisions
_ Reliable and trustworthy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in private home care
_ bilingual ( Spanish/Creole and English speaking)
