This successful independent practice specializes in outpatient surgical procedures. We are expanding and look for people who want to grow with our practice.
We are seeking a Full Time RN with PACU experience. No weekend, nights or holidays.
The ideal candidate is a skilled team player, eager to learn and delivers compassionate care towards all patients in the ambulatory surgery setting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Professional and comprehensive direct nursing care for all patients in an ambulatory surgery setting
- Delivery of safe, compassionate, evidence-based, quality care to patients and their families during the intra-op period.
- Educating patients and families.
- Assess, communicate, prioritize, coordinate, and collaborate on care
- Pre-op screening phone calls, health assessments, and follow-up calls
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered Oregon state RN license.
- One year of nursing experience required, three years preferred.
- Ambulatory Surgery Experience preferred.
- Current BLS. Current ACLS or to successfully obtain within 3 months of employment.
- Willingness to learn and be adaptable.
- Ability to critically think and assess situations and patients
