Position Overview:
As a Book Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in our book procurement and office tasks. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, purchasing, and managing used books, as well as handling various office duties to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procure used books from stores, focusing on quality and variety.
- Perform office tasks efficiently and effectively.
- For selected positions:
- Clean and/or fix used books as necessary.
- Inspect books for quality and accuracy.
- Utilize mobile applications for task management.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a car.
- Cell phone with the capability to run required applications.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Work Hours:
- Weekdays
- Office Tasks: 8:00 am to 9:00 am
- Shopping/Cleaning Tasks: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (flexible hours available for certain positions)
