Job Title: System Administrator
Job Description:
As a System Administrator, you will receive specialized training in managing a DoD Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system. This system integrates multiple security systems into a unified operating platform. Your responsibilities will include configuring the PSIM system, developing automated logic to enhance operational efficiency, and ensuring cyber security through regular patching. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to lead new project installations, such as LIDAR and License Plate Recognition systems. This role is full-time onsite, and occasional nighttime and weekend work will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure the PSIM System:
- Make configuration changes, such as adding sensors and mapping their locations within the PSIM system.
- Develop Automated Logic:
- Create and deploy automated logic to streamline operations and reduce manual workload for operators.
- Collaborate with Operations Center:
- Work closely with security personnel in the operations center to build relationships and understand operational needs.
- Cyber Security Patching:
- Perform regular cyber security patching to ensure the integrity and security of the PSIM system.
- System Outage Response:
- Respond promptly to system outages, including occasional nighttime and weekend work, as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related fields or at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in a relevant role.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL is advantageous.
- Familiarity with programming languages is a plus.
- Work Attributes:
- Ability to work independently and reliably without continuous supervision.
- Capability to work onsite full-time and occasionally during nighttime (9 pm-midnight) and weekends.
- Strong people skills to build connections with diverse personalities.
- Security Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active DoD Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Active Security+ Certification required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
