The Objective:
In this role, you will optimize IT operations and system performance by leveraging extensive knowledge in Microsoft technologies and network administration.
The Requirements
• At least five years of experience working with the Microsoft computing environment.• Familiarity with Microsoft Domain Administration, Active Directory, domain controllers and Domain Names Services (DNS).• Familiarity with basic network technologies and capable of troubleshooting minor network connectivity issues such as network interface card (NIC), cabling, TCP/IP configuration issues.• Basic messaging system administration (e-mail).• Familiarity with PC and server hardware including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues using configuration analysis and subsystem (hard drive, memory, monitors, and power supplies).• Familiarity with repair and replacement procedures.• Respond to trouble tickets from the Service Desk automated trouble ticketing system.• Perform hardware and software system, including patches, upgrates, service packs, and hotfixes to ensure system availability, reliability and serviceability.• Responsible for backup and recovery functions.• Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, and network concerns.• Perform systems management and integration functions.• Favorable Public Trust background investigation.
