We are an established private national investment firm looking to fill the position of Real Estate and Asset Analyst.
The analyst will perform in-depth Due Diligence relating to the acquisition, operation, and performance, of a national portfolio of real estate, mortgages, and other varied investments. The Analyst provides critical information and analysis relating to all aspects of Real Estate, Financial, and Investment Operations. The Position requires a professional individual who not only has exceptional analytical and organizational abilities but is also proactive and solution-oriented. This position takes direction from and communicates directly with top-level management. The Analyst will have a wide variety of duties and projects that are imperative in supporting our Real Estate, Mortgage, Finance, and Accounting functions. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical proficiencies and a strong technical accounting skillset.
Core responsibilities:
- Perform extensive due diligence relating to all aspects of real estate, mortgages, and a variety of other Assets
- Efficiently and accurately produce a variety of financial reports and present to senior management for decision making
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses relating to the valuation and performance of a variety of assets
- Analyze and forecast various operating and financial metrics
- Prepare financial lease assumption analyses and proformas
- Perform property level and ad-hoc analyses
- Perform in-depth industry and market research
- Responsible for various finance and special projects
- Prepare and present the results of your analysis in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
- 4-year degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or other relevant fields
- Competence and passion for all areas of business specifically commercial real estate and finance
- Experience creating and implementing complex financial models
- High level skills in Excel to include Macros, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
- Basic working knowledge of YARDI Voyager is preferred but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
