PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:
Perform and support a wide variety of HR functions, including benefits administration, new-hire onboarding, and all other HR related matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in human resources or related field is required. Experience in HR and strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations preferred.
*This position is an entry-level position. The pay range is $20 - $23 depending on experience and education.*
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide timely and courteous support and assistance to current employees of the organization in a variety of facets, utilizing multiple communication tools.
- Handle and process staff status changes, terminations, onboarding documents and necessary letters/communications.
- Facilitate orientation and educational sessions for new onboarding employees on a reoccurring basis.

Coordinate and host employee engagement and/or recognition initiatives and events as assigned.

Provide support to the hiring process in applicant screening, processing and/or interviews to include verification of employment.

File departmental paperwork and purge documents according to procedures.

Responsible for coordinating and assisting in the Open Enrollment process.

Observe and participate in workforce investigations.

Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with attention to details.

Must have visual acuity sufficient for close paperwork and frequently viewing computer monitor.
- Must be able to work in a sedentary position, standing and walking occasionally. Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds occasionally for lifting or moving objects.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS BASED ON ASSIGNMENT:

Administer and coordinate FMLA, medical and personal leaves in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.
- Determine employee eligibility, changes in coverage, manage employee paperwork, and process company benefit and retirement plan enrollments in coordination with vendor.
- Provide backup for timely and accurate filings of employee injuries in accordance with WSI and OSHA as needed.
- Assist with routine safety training programs as assigned.
- Create, maintain and update analytics for recruitment, safety, and assorted initiatives.
- Prepare, organize and maintain organizational spreadsheet tracking for a variety of departmental needs on a reoccurring basis.

Assist with annual enrollment and ACA reporting.
- Provide primary support to the payroll process in timekeeping procedures such as company benefit entries, premium and incentive validation, etc.
- Must be proficient in typing, spelling, proofing of work.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

Preparation of reports and information for the financial as requested.

Participate and lead committees and work groups as assigned.
- Must respect and uphold resident rights in all regards including confidentiality of resident’s personal, financial and health information.
