Experienced Auto Body Technicians wanted!
Pay: At least $80k, as much as $150k!
Starting Flat Rate : $26.00-$27.00
Our Technicians receive ANNUAL RETENTION BONUS in place of a signing bonus based on hours turned paid out on anniversary date, and full benefits!
Heritage Collision is looking for talented, hardworking Technicians to join our team at our Ann Arbor location. In this role, you'll be expected to:
· Evaluate incoming damaged vehicles
· Assess and plan needed repairs
· Perform and complete those repairs - either working by yourself, or coordinating with the rest of the team
· Ensure repairs meet both our internal standards and manufacturing standards
· Evaluate the cost-benefits of repairing vs replacing components, both in terms of dollar-cost and safety implications
The typical take home pay for this role is at least $80k, with some techs making as much as $150k.+ As is the case in most collision shops, commission is a significant portion of the compensation package here. We have two locations currently (soon to be 3). There is a location in Ann Arbor, another in Canton, with an additional Ann Arbor location opening soon. Our facilities are much nicer than your average body shop!!! We have AC running in the summer, new and high quality tools and equipment, and a well run, professional operation. This is a far better place to work than most body shops out there.
This job is strictly Monday through Friday, so no weekends required. Most of our techs work 8 hour shifts. The start and end times are a bit flexible, we have both early morning and later evening needs, so we are open to discussion on what hours fit your schedule best.
There is also an annual bonus awarded based on number of hours worked.
We expect you to be certified in the State of Michigan as well. We really need you to have the following:
· Unibody/Mechanical License
· I-Car certification is strongly preferred as well
