About the opportunity:
Provides administrative support to the Vail Health 24/7 Nurse Navigation Program and staff.
What you will do:
- Follows office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
- Answer phone calls, transfer callers as appropriate. Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail as directed.
- Schedules patients for provider office visits as directed by RN
- Manage schedules for 24/7 medical concierge RN appointments as directed.
- Provides basic information regarding VH and community-wide clinic hours, locations, directions.
- Support nurse concierge director with various administrative tasks (redirecting calls, drafting and disseminating correspondence, expense reimbursement forms, scheduling meetings, coordinate travel, etc.)
- Submit work orders, supply requests, IT requests and schedules repairs for general office space and equipment
- Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Vail Health Values.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant

- Proven experience in a health care organization as an administrative assistant, unit secretary, customer service and/or support position highly preferred

Computer / Typing:
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computer skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Associates degree highly preferred.
