Responsibilities include but limited to:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients using medical scheduling systems
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with front desk duties such as answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and handling patient requests
- Collect co-pays, deductible amount and account balances
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefit coverage
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical scheduling systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Experience working at the front desk of a medical office
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide exceptional patient service
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records
