DP Foods, LLC is the proud producer of DP’s Pool Hall Slaw, a beloved chow chow that pairs perfectly with hotdogs, hamburgers, BBQ, turkey sandwiches, pinto beans, and more. Our product started in local farmer markets and has now expanded to several stores. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Business Manager/Sales Representative to join our growing team and help us expand our footprint across the Southeastern United States.
**Job Description:**
As our Business Manager/Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in both maintaining and growing our customer base. Your primary responsibilities will include serving our existing grocery store customers, expanding our market presence, and driving sales in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Customer Service:** Serve and nurture relationships with existing grocery store customers to ensure their continued satisfaction and partnership.
- **Market Expansion:** Identify and secure new sales opportunities in grocery stores, butcher shops, and farm stores across the Southeastern U.S.
- **Product Sampling:** Conduct product samplings at North Alabama stores to promote our slaw. Oversee and hire personnel to conduct samplings in other regions.
- **Sales Strategy:** Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive product growth and achieve sales targets.
- **Royalties:** Earn royalties on every jar sold, with the potential for unlimited income growth based on your performance.
- **Autonomy:** Enjoy a high level of autonomy in your role with minimal oversight, allowing you to implement your strategies and initiatives.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the grocery/food product industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to travel throughout the Southeastern U.S. as needed.
- Highly motivated with a passion for growing a successful business.
