Job Description: Temporary/Contract IT Support Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and personable Temporary/Contract IT Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and customer service abilities, with a comprehensive background in both MAC and PC support, as well as iPhone and Android assistance. Should be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for technology and customer service. Knowledge and administrative skills in Okta and Google Workspace are essential. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting various technical issues and providing excellent support to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for both MAC and PC systems.
- Assist with iPhone and Android device issues.
- Administer and support Okta and Google Workspace.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, including changing passwords and setting up new users.
- Manage and resolve support tickets via our ticketing system.
- Communicate effectively with employees through Slack, escalating to phone calls or desktop support as needed.
- Log and document each ticket, including fixes, challenges, and accomplishments.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MAC and PC support.
- Experience with iPhone and Android support.
- Knowledge of Okta and Google Workspace administration.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities.
- Basic administrative skills.
- Ability to work professionally and kindly with employees.
- Experience using a ticketing system for support requests.
