We are a Community Health Nursing Agency that assists agencies supporting individuals with developmental disabilities . We oversee the health needs for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities living in the community. Position requires that you travel to and complete your work assignments in the residence where our clients live. .
We are responsible for insuring the accurate and timely completion of all required medical documentation including, but not limited to, Nursing Assessments, Self-Medication Assessments, Health Care Assessments, referrals for consultation, Nursing Quarterlies and Medication Administration oversight. We are also responsible for staff training related to medical issues relevant to the health care of the clients assigned to you.

Requirements:
Current CT RN License in good standing
Experience in Developmental Disabilities or an interest to work in the field of Developmental Disabilities.
COMPUTER SKILLS A MUST
Ability to prioritize work assignments.
Ability to work independently, anticipate changes and needs, follow through and effectively manage time and resources
Detailed oriented with strong interpersonal skills
A sincere desire to help with a caring, compassionate, empathetic and responsible attitude.'
