Job Responsibilities:
- Networking:
- Manage and troubleshoot TCP/IP, IPv4 & IPv6, VLANs, and subnetting.
- Install and maintain network rack mount equipment and wireless access points.
- Patch and run CAT6/LV cables.
- Server Administration:
- Administer Windows Server OS, including core services (Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy)
- Manage VMware and Hyper-V environments.
- Administer MSSQL Server and Linux servers.
- Systems Administration:
- Set up and manage Windows OS (Windows 10 and newer)
- Handle domain setup, troubleshooting, printer setup, and application installation.
- Microsoft 365 Administration:
- Manage licenses, SharePoint, and application installations and troubleshooting.
- VPN Applications:
- Administer and use VPN applications.
Functional Understanding:
- Third-party security providers (e.g., Mimecast)
- Shipping logistics systems (UPS, FedEx)
- ERP and CRM systems
- Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) applications
- MSSQL, MySQL and ODBC connections.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of networking, server, and systems administration
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and VPN applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently after hours as needed.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing support role.
- Sage X3 and Sales Force support.
- 2 years of IT support / helpdesk experience.
