About the position:
We are looking for a coach that can come in and coach upwards of 20-25 hours per week of a combination of Behemoth sessions.
We believe that the best way to make a career out of being a coach is through a combination of 1-on-1 coaching, our Ascend group sessions and ID (Individual Design) clients. We are seeking an individual who aligns with our mission and principles and aspires to become a full-time coach, whether they are ready now or believe they can work their way towards this role in the near term (coming months).
Minimum Requirements/Skills:
- Group fitness/Crossfit coaching experience
- Team player: You understand your actions not only affect you but your teammates and because of that act selflessly
- Ability to follow instructions/Behemoth SOPs
- Ability to coach movement/exercise
- Able to organize working with a combination of Ascend, 1-on-1 and ID clients
- Attentive to detail
- Able to communicate effectively and often
- Emotional Intelligence (EI)
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach scheduled Behemoth sessions
- Problem solve client problems that inspires them to create change
- Ability to have a mixed client roster including 1 on 1 clients, Ascend clients, ID clients
- Never ending pursuit of coaching excellence and education. We never stop learning and if there is a better way to do it, we want to learn.
- Commit to your own training as an individual but not at the expense of prioritizing your clients first
- Eventually take on a role greater than coaching alone (putting on seminars, leading critical talks, leading events, leading corporate wellness groups)
Additional Expectations:
- Active Life Professional (AL-P) candidate or Active Life Professional (AL-P) graduate
- Behemoth (and the role as a full-time professional) is a top priority in your life.
- Adhere to Behemoth principles inside and outside of the gym (including social media)
- Be a team member. We are in this as one and do things as one. Expectations are that if you are part of the Behemoth team, Behemoth guidelines and SOPs are followed
- Push Behemoth and the people in it towards excellence everyday
- Be an open source of communication. No gossip
- Never ending pursuit of personal growth and excellence
- Be fully prepared for every session
- Help stage, clean, and organize the gym before and after all sessions

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary and income potential: $36,000 - $75,000 (with the ability to make more depending on level of coach)
