Your Mission:
In this role, you will be responsible for offering insights and financial advice that will allow executive leadership to make the best business decisions for the company. This position requires a highly skilled financial professional who can partner effectively will all levels of the organization and drive results across systems and business units. You will have the authority to act with decision-making and discretion commensurate with the role and will ensure proper handling of confidential and proprietary information. The finance manager will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of analysts with respect to project approach, data acquisition, training, and development.
How You’ll Make an Impact:

Prepares forecasts and pro-forma analysis of various business initiatives in an effort to guide the operations of the company in order to make sound business decisions.

Analyzes and manage the budget process from a sales/profit and loss consolidations perspective.

Delivers formal presentations to franchisees at the regional franchise meetings or global business conference.

Delivers formal and informal presentations to internal support teams and leadership.

Finance projects vary widely in scope, but will include analyzing and and drawing conclusions of marketing tests, research and development tests, operational initiatives, supply chain initiatives, price point analysis, and other general business issues.

Consults with non-financial business partners providing sound financial advice and support as requested.

Collaborates with the data warehouse team to design and review automated data warehouse reports created for other departments.

Responsible for the analysis of growth rates and purposing solutions to overcome any potential gaps or barriers in achieving those goals.

Manages the period-end close process by overseeing all financial reporting, actual to budget variance explanations, and generating a summary report to be shared with management.

Provides financial support to new business development when evaluating new potential markets.

Assists leadership with the preparation of various presentations including the global business conference presentations.

Manage a team of financial analysts. Which includes hiring, coaching, development, training and performance management.

May present at meetings and formal training classes to include typical subjects such as: financial reporting, sales analysis, and other topics specific to the function.

May assist and provide work direction to less experienced staff.
Who You Are:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Business or a related degree.

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in a role requiring in-depth experience with analytical tools, techniques, and financial reporting systems.

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a formal leadership role; managing financial analysts in a finance or business environment.

High aptitude for advanced data analysis.

Able to operate at a high-level of critical thinking and problem solving while working cross-functionally with other teams.

Ability to make decisions based on sound business acumen and decision-making practices.

Excellent oral, presentation and written skills. Must be adept at preparing and delivering written communications, verbal communications, and formal presentations.

High-level of organization skills with proven ability to manage others while meeting business deadlines.

Proficiency with data analytics, and at an advanced level, with the use of Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Master’s in Business Administration.

Related industry experience.
