Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Diabetes Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diabetes management and patient education. The Diabetes Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in driving sales, and establishing strong relationships with healthcare providers, payors, manufacturers and other key wound care stakeholders in Los Angeles. The Diabetes Sales Specialist will conduct successful sales visits, focusing on specific target areas such as Endocrinology, Primary Care, and Internal Medicine. Additionally, they cultivate connections with important clientele to boost sales.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct effective sales calls with targeted call points (e.g., Endocrinology, Primary Care and Internal Medicine)
- Partner with Regional Sales Manager to establish strategic sales plans that encompass all referral sources in the assigned territory.
- Identify & develop relationships with key customers to drive sales growth of company.
- Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving and following up on all customer concerns in a timely manner.
- Build positive customer experiences by engaging in active dialogue which includes the ability to explain reimbursement requirements, services, and necessary documentation.
- Arrange & conduct in-services.
- Analyze impact of managed care in the territory and its effect on prescribing decisions and modify sales and promotion strategies as needed.
- Represent company at local, regional, and national trade shows and diabetes exhibits to promote company's services to a broad community.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience SELLING A SERVICE OR COMMODITY PRODUCT REQUIRED in the medical field
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; two (2) years applicable work experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrable success in previous employment indicated by high level of sales performance.
- Outside or Inside sales experience REQUIRED.
- A valid state driver's license, automobile insurance, and satisfactory driving record is required.
- Must reside in the geographic location of assigned territory.
