Title: Social Content Video Intern
Hours: 20 hours per week
Location: Remote
Reports to: Marketing Manager
Compensation: This part-time contract position is budgeted for 20 hours per week at a rate of $25 an hour.
This Role:
BioLite seeks a productive, creative storyteller to join our marketing team for an 8-week sprint to build out our organic video content for our social channels. You will have a lot of autonomy to experiment with producing videos that build engagement and reach with new and existing audiences. The content library will be an experimental departure from core brand assets as we learn how to present key value propositions through innovative techniques and approaches to video.
You Will:
In this role you will work within two key areas:
- Experimental Content Audit & Strategy: Analyze existing BioLite brand channels, familiarize yourself with BioLite priority products, and create a content plan to use as the blueprint for your production calendar.
- Experimental Content Creation: Develop, shoot, edit, design, publish, and possibly appear in creative content tailored to our target audience across multiple social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). You will deliver a minimum of 5 videos per week for the duration of your contract.
You Have:
- Well-versed in TikTok and Meta environments.
- Comfortable shooting, editing, narrating
- You know what gets people to watch and engage and you monitor trends and moments that boost content reach
- Able to spend time outdoors for product activation and content capture. Passion for the outdoors and familiarity with outdoor brands/industry a bonus.
- Ability to share your vision/plan with teammates for buy-in, effective caption writing, ability to share out results from recent posts.
- Previous experience building video content for at least one branded social account
- Commitment to minimum deliverable of 5 videos/week within allotted hours of contract.
