POSITION SUMMARY: The company is seeking an individual as a Heavy Equipment Operator. This role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Work includes operating 300 – 400 size trackhoes, bulldozers and skid steers for a variety of excavation and landscape projects primarily in the Central Ohio area. Many of the machines are outfitted with GPS machine control. Typical types of work on our projects include site work, mass excavation, grading, utility installation, building pads, landscaping, pavers, walls mass plantings, stream restorations, and seeding. Some travel may be required for jobsites that may be outside of the Central Ohio area. Employees must have their own reliable transportation to get to the various job locations. Ironsite, Inc. has a strict Drug Free Workplace policy which includes pre-employment and random drug tests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate various heavy equipment on large and small projects
- Complete daily safety inspections of the equipment being operated
- Perform daily equipment maintenance tasks as required after each use
- Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA safety regulations when operating heavy equipment
- Promptly report equipment repairs or other concerns to the foremen and/or field superintendent
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 5+ years of experience operating various pieces of heavy equipment from large Ag tractors, trackhoes, dozers, skid loaders and everything in between.
- OSHA 10 certification; mechanical experience a plus.
- Must be able to pass witnessed urine and hair drug test to qualify for employment.
