Operations Manager of Moving Company

We are a local customer-centric moving company operating across the west coast. We are seeking to hire a Moving Company Manager for our Bell Gardens location.

General Responsibilities and Tasks
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the moving process.
- Training Leading and Problem Solving
- 24/7 approach to management
- Keeps up with state/federal employment laws.
- Manage Customer Service
- Hiring
- Compliance, compliance, Compliance
- Pro-Active in running a company
- Making efficiencies happen by using less to accomplish more.
- Managing outside vendors
- Estimates
- Assist with administration of the annual performance management process
- Ensure all HR operations are in compliance with state and federal laws
- Document and regularly update standard operating procedures related to day-to-day Operations
Basic Requirements
- 4 year degree or better
- Tech Savvy
- 3 Years+ in HHG MOVING COMPANY as Operations Manager, General manager or District Manager roll.
- Experience managing at least 25+ movers full time.
- Knows and understands current HR laws/guidelines.
- Pro-active and detailed approach
- Drivers license - Clean
- Friendly and attentive attitude.
- Excellent organization skills and high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week
Plus++
- Can start right away.
- Intermediate to Expert proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Word.
We are currently in Oregon, Washington. Arizona and California. We employed 200+ individuals. You will be expected to manage over 100 people at this location. This leadership job requires 50+ hours per week, and availability for location emergencies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
