Maintenance Mechanic:
The Maintenance Technician performs duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the physical assets of the property as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the completion of maintenance service requests as assigned
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and perform scheduled repairs of equipment during machine service.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment and machines
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Monitor work/service performed by outside contractors.
- Responsible for alerting Maintenance Manager of any unusual occurrences and/or damages that have taken place or that may occur to the facility.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and Federal guidelines.
- Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions.
- Use the proper equipment and appropriate personal protective equipment to perform core functions. Ensure that proper equipment guidelines are followed when utilizing equipment.
- Use a variety of hand/power tools, electric meters, and powered equipment in performing duties.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Ensure all tools are accounted for and stored in the correct place.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years' maintenance experience
- General Contractor Experience required
- Experience repairing electric pallet jacks a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
