Aroma Housewares with its 45 year history in small kitchen appliances has an immediate hire opportunity for an Shipping/Order Processing Coordinator team member.
Job Description:
Accurate and detailed data entry
Receive and translate customer orders into ERP system from EDI.
Check individual customer’s supplier websites/portals for new orders, print and manually enter into the ERP
Prepare shipping documents and shipping labels for warehouse staff
Submit routing requests to customer’s and/or shop for best freight rate and schedule
Resolve order and/or shipping related issues with warehouse, sales team, and customer
Other responsibilities as directed by management
Requirements:
High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred
Detail oriented and meticulous, with a solid work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Medium working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Team player
Previous order processing experience
Preferred:
Previous consumer goods order processing with large retailers
Working knowledge of True Commerce EDI and Sage 300
