As a Senior Quality Assurance and SoftwareTest Engineer, you will be integral in ensuring the quality and performance of our hardware products and associated mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications. You will collaborate closely with the product design team to determine testing parameters, develop comprehensive test plans, and create detailed test cases. Your role will focus on both executing tests and leading the transition towards automated testing solutions to enhance our testing processes.
- Meet with the product design team to establish product testing parameters.

Develop and execute detailed test plans for our mobile apps (iOS and Android) and web applications to ensure compatibility and performance across all platforms.

Create/track defects and provide developers with details required to reproduce and resolve defects.

Document and communicate test results and metrics.

Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks for performance testing, including both UI and backend systems.

Responsible for creating and implementing automated regression testing as part of the implementation and on-going environment deployments.

Conduct quality assurance and streamline testing procedures using new testing methods.

Troubleshoot any errors and refine testing processes to enhance efficiency.

Document all test results and work with software engineers to address any issues.

Write up final QA and test procedures for use by quality technicians and ensure all testing procedures comply with company and industry standards.

Train and support quality assurance staff, providing technical support as needed.

Prepare comprehensive test reports for management, detailing testing outcomes and recommendations.

Develop and execute firmware tests to ensure smooth integration with associated mobile and web applications, identifying and resolving firmware-specific issues to enhance overall system reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or relevant years of experience.

4+ years of experience in QC and QA testing, particularly with mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web applications.

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress or similar.

Familiarity with performance testing and the development of automated tools for performance evaluation.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test scripting.

Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.

Excellent troubleshooting skills to root out issues in software and firmware.

Experience in firmware testing, with a strong understanding of hardware-software integration challenges and the ability to debug at the firmware level.

Experience with hardware product testing is highly desirable.

Knowledge of database management and backend testing tools.
