Position Overview:
As an Outside Sales/Business Developer, you'll be a key player in driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and nurturing existing accounts. You'll primarily focus on developing the wholesale aspect of our business, ensuring our products and services reach a wide range of customers within our target market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and acquire new wholesale clients by researching and identifying potential leads within the industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize sales and foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase our offerings and value proposition.
- Collaborate with the internal team to create customized solutions and address client needs effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and construction techniques to better assist customers.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and improve market position.
- Meet and exceed sales targets while consistently expanding the customer base.
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years experience in outside sales, business development, or account management within the flooring wholesale industry.
- Strong sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Knowledge of the flooring materials and understanding of wholesale distribution processes is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is advantageous.
