Volga Partners is looking for a Language Data Evaluator for Japanese language!

Rate: $15.00/hour to $17.00/hour [If applicable, Volga Partners follows all state and city minimum wage requirements in the respective city and/or state of the applicant.]
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work within our client’s universal language platform and recommend improvements if necessary.
- Understand, monitor, review, track, analyze and evaluate data generated by your team on the universal platform.
- Respond and react to changing priorities quickly and efficiently.
- Understand and adhere to details of client requirements.
- Be highly organized with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Understand data, relationships between data sets, and be able to identify and explain recommendations for improvement.
- Understand details of client requirements regarding formatting and ensuring efficiency and accuracy in data preparation.
- Adhere strictly to quality assurance and project guidelines system to ensure maximum data quality and meet clients' expectations.
- Ability to familiarize text annotation, image annotation, data collection, search relevance tasks, and much more to improve machine learning models.
- Communicate insights and provide solutions.
- Monitor performance trends and quality of data.
- Research information for various entities, tools, and data.
- Interpret data and turn it into information that can offer ways to improve a project.
- Take batches of data, label and manipulate according to the project requirements.
- Own the quality of all data and work on proactively identifying issues.
- Focus on tasks and proofreading the work assigned.
- Correct any errors or inaccuracies in a timely manner.
- Ensure typing and comprehension skills are honed and remain sharp between responsibilities.
- Translate project guidelines and documentation accurately.
- Be able to approach each project guidelines effectively and seek constant enhancement.
Key Skills:
- Good oral and written communication language skills: Fluent in English and Japanese is a must (prefer native or near-native Japanese speakers)
- Awareness of Japanese culture to understand and prioritize tasks.
- The ideal person should also be fluent in spoken English as well as Japanese, and also understand how people talk commonly in the workplace, at home, and in the street, and also have good writing skills.
- Candidate should possess good logical and analytical skills to judge the data while being able to give reasoning.

- Ability to create accurate data labeling that helps businesses achieve revenue-generating opportunities.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Japanese (prefer native or near-native Japanese speakers)
- Awareness of Japanese culture is imperative.
- Excellent computer skills, especially typing and writing.
- Previous data mining and analysis experience preferred.
- Proven Ability to work effectively with different people.
- Experience in quality management preferred.
- Entry level position with on-the-job training.
- Currently hiring for a part-time position, but likely to become full-time.
- For a part-time position, must be available to work minimum between 10 am-2 pm Pacific Standard Time Monday through Friday (4 hours a day).
- For this position, we are seeking candidates with the ability to work 4 hours a day from 10am to 2pm (Pacific Standard Time Zone).
- Must be flexible with training hours for the first few weeks.
