Precision Door Service (PDS) is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner who will advise and problem solve using business insights on wide variety of HR functional areas including employee relations, talent development, performance management, engagement, retention and workforce management to name a few. As a compliance expert, you’ll stay abreast of multi-state employment laws. You’ll build deep relationships to understand the needs of people managers and provide thoughtful recommendations. As a hands-on generalist, you’ll be the point of contact for people-related matters. In your spare time, you’ll help on a variety of small and major HR initiatives that will be fun, challenging, and make a giant impact. What will you do-
- Partners with the VP of HR to drive HR initiatives & programs throughout Precision based on organizational needs & industry best practices
- Acts as a first line resource to department and field managers on employee relations and performance matters, providing guidance to influence optimal outcomes
- Partners with functional leaders to asses organizational talent, identify developmental needs and develop and deliver programs to build the Precision talent base
- Creates and executes an overall strategy of compliance, remaining current on all applicable employment laws and ensuring compliance or mitigating risk by identifying and providing timely solutions
- Proactively identify people related needs and recommend scalable solutions by reviewing data and completing analysis to share metrics with the business; helps to recommend options to drive people programs and practices forward
- Mitigates risk by identifying and providing timely solutions using consistent methods and sound judgment.
- Actively participates and collaborates with HR team on initiatives and strategies that drive organizational health such as: performance management, talent reviews, employee engagement, communication plans and change management
- Serves as a point of contact and resource on HR policies, programs and processes to answer questions and resolve problems
- Identify, research and present best practices within HR function, to continually enhance HR credibility and performance
What you should bring:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience (with at least 3 years in a HR Generalist capacity, California and multi-state support preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- PHR or SHRM-CP Certification highly desired
- Ability to travel 10-15 days per year

Base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job- related knowledge, skills & experience, among other factors. Precision offers medical, vision, dental coverage and 401(k) amongst other benefits for eligible positions.
