Our fast-growing healthcare IT company specializing in Healthcare Solutions and Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to lead our sales efforts. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and proven success driving business growth. This position will be responsible for building and maintaining relations with potential customers, partners, vendors and other stakeholders, and will be instrumental in achieving our aggressive growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders in healthcare organizations.
- Qualify new leads and opportunities by understanding customer pain points, needs, and budget requirements.
- Create customized solutions to meet customer needs and present them in a clear and concise manner.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle and collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful implementation and adoption of solutions.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to network and stay up to date on trends in the healthcare industry and sales strategies.
- Generate sales reports showing progress towards goals and providing insights to the executive team.
- Provide strategic input into product development and contribute to the overall company strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least seven years of successful experience in healthcare IT sales and business development.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in CRM and sales automation software (Salesforce, Hubspot or equivalent).
- Highly analytical with strong reporting skills is a plus.
- Must be able to travel frequently.
