Summary:
BlueHopper Lighting, headquartered in Dallas, TX, and in partnership with MeshTek Labs, is a leading provider of smart outdoor lighting solutions for commercial, residential, and municipal properties. Our products are designed to provide the right ambiance for any occasion while ensuring energy efficiency, safety, and security. We are seeking a dynamic Business Development manager to join our team and help us grow our B2B commercial business.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the commercial sector, targeting chains or individual properties such as restaurants, malls, and car dealerships. (Visit BlueHopper.com).
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and expand market share in commercial property installations.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs and provide feedback to the product development team.
- Utilize lead generation tools and CRM systems to manage the sales pipeline and track progress.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Represent BlueHopper at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the
- commercial lighting industry.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business development, with a proven track record of success in the commercial lighting industry.
- Experience selling to commercial properties, such as chains such as restaurants, malls, and car dealerships, is a MUST.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for smart technology and innovation.
- Experience with lead generation tools and CRM systems.
- Established connections in the commercial lighting industry are a significant advantage.
Experience:
