Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of the Branch including operations, staff, customers, sales, the building and grounds.
The Branch Manager will provide leadership, direction, and guidance of bank activities in achieving company-wide goals and objectives. They will ensure that applicable banking laws and regulations, along with bank policy and procedures, are being followed. The Branch Manager will also provide leadership for the branch development process by developing and maintaining the branch's vision, goals, and objectives.
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Salary: Depends on level of experience
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Monthly Saturday rotation

Job Functions:

- Leadership. Provide direction to Personal Bankers and other Branch employees. Responsible for the development of a highly qualified staff that emphasizes action and results and consistently satisfies defined standards of performance. Create a positive working environment with clear goals, communication, feedback and recognition. Ensure that applicable banking laws and regulations, along with bank policy and procedures, are being followed. Assure customer and bank confidentiality.
- Business Development / Sales. Leads business development of the branch. Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, potential customers and local businesses. Develop a sales plan and goals for enhancing the Branch's consumer loan portfolio; originate and process/underwrite the consumer loans. Sell all BNC products, including but not limited to: DDA/NOW Accounts, ATM/Debit Cards, Money Market Accounts, Visa/MC Merchant Program, Savings Accounts, IRA's, Certificates of Deposit, ODP Accounts, Consumer & Commercial Loans, Trust & Accounting Services, EB Plan, Agency Accounts.
- Community. Participate in professional organizations and community affairs to enhance the bank’s visibility and further personal development. Be active in appropriate banking organizations. Participate in bank marketing efforts through community activities and organizations.
- Customer Service. Resolve customer problems of all types. Represent the bank to customers in a courteous, professional manner and provide prompt, efficient service. Exercise good judgment in handling client financial affairs and recommending appropriate products and services. Respond to written and oral requests for information about BNC Bank products and services. Be accurate in processing customer transactions and requests.

Necessary Education and Experience:
- 5+ years' supervisory experience
- 7+ years' experience as a Sr. Personal Banker / Sr. Universal Banker / Sr. Bank Teller (or related position)
- Extensive knowledge of the banking industry; including deposits, sales, and lending.
- Extensive knowledge of depository products and treasury/cash management services.
- Considerable knowledge and understanding of credit and risk management, overdraft management, and pricing philosophy.
- High School Diploma required
- B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
