A proven co-leader who is competent and efficient, works with a sense of urgency, and possesses a high level of attention to detail. As part of our team, your goal is to execute administrative responsibilities and human resource interactions as a personal assistant to a busy entrepreneur. Businesses include rental management and assisting in QuickBooks including helping to maintain financial records, coding of purchase and sales receipts, payments, company reimbursements, and handle payroll and filing for upto 15 employees between three small entities. In addition, you will be the Landlord’s representative for 6 units and as a tenant/landlord liaison. Applicant must problem solve, negotiate and be quick on your feet, be well-versed in Google Docs & Sheets. Being tech savvy comes naturally to you. A willingness to learn with a “jump in” attitude will go far in this position. Catching on quickly is of great importance and strength in both written and verbal communication is mandatory for this position.
Financial Duties: Quickbooks accounting software knowledge, ability to create financial reports. Assisting bookkeeper in preparing quarterly reports, researching loans, work with banks, track down credits, properly code reimbursements between companies, etc. process AP & AR, manage invoices, and tax payments. Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process, Complete sales and use tax forms.
Administration Duties: Task and project-based duties including updating contracts, phone and email correspondence, manage records, updating websites, posting items for sale on Craingslist and Marketplace, and completing an extremely diversified set of tasks that could put you indoors or outdoors on any given day. Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills are required to negotiate rents, collect late payments (including organized documentation and papertrails), problem solve and handle conflict resolution with a professional, courteous and understanding demeanor.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years working in the customer service industry
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience
- Minimum 1 years of Quickbooks experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Have a general knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with Excel/Google spreadsheets
- Excellent English and business email correspondence.
- Customer service and negotiation skills
- High degree of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Payment:
$16 training wage to start with $1 raise/200 hours worked. Review at $18/hour DOE
Hours:
20-25 hrs/week pending season, availability and abilities. Flexible schedule.
Start date:
Immediately.
