Job Summary
The Product and Marketing Support Specialist is an all-encompassing, HANDS-ON, role for developing and maintaining B&B’s marketing methods, materials, and product information. Technical aptitude, detail oriented, software astute, along with a strong artistic flair are needed to thrive in this role. Success will be dependent upon the candidate’s motivation to self-develop to become an expert in our products, markets, channels, and customers.
Duties/Responsibilities
Create and maintain B&B Manufacturing’s image through delivering consistent and persistent content through various, style aligned, mediums:
- Print – create and maintain fresh technical leave behind product line pieces. Drive brand standards - labels, packaging, etc.
- Digital – create and maintain fresh pieces that communicate our products and business in electronic formats
- Social – daily posts, blogs, etc.
Manage B&B Manufacturing’s Website
- Drive SEO
- Coordinate with 3rd party suppliers to maintain leading web position
Gather and maintain product attributes, models, images, catalog revisions, and updates so they are current and easily reached for updates to the print and digital versions throughout the year
Maintain and manage pricing model
Gather and maintain competitive information for market and pricing decisions
Create and issue press releases for new item releases and when appropriate
Collaborate, coordinate, and/or participate in promotional activities/trade shows as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Comfortable in technical content
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years of marketing or product management of discrete/technical products.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
