Analyzes part drawings, specifications, and design data. Sets up, operates, and edits programs on CNC machining centers and conventional mills. Machines parts to required specifications. Verifies conformance of parts to specifications. Must be familiar with standard machining concepts, practices, and procedures. Must have machining knowledge, shop trigonometry skills, basic sheet metal knowledge, and be able to read blueprints and shop drawings. Must be able to work with a sense of urgency in order to meet deadlines and expedite work. Must be able to manage quick turn prototypes. Must own basic tools (i.e. caliper, allen wrenches, etc.)
