What You’ll Do:
The Receptionist is the central hub of communication and business interactions throughout our company. Managing our switchboard, offering secretarial support to other departments, greeting guests, managing our busy conference rooms, and demo center are key functions that are integral to our success. Through daily responsibilities and interactions, you will gain experience in office procedures as well as exposure to advanced business solutions we offer our clients.

Answering the switchboard

Mail distribution

Calendar management for 8 conference rooms

Weekly Supply Orders
-
Coordinating Lunch Meetings
-
Maintaining reception area
-
Greeting visitors/vendors/applicants
-
Assistance with company events
-
Clerical support for various departments as needed
-
Printing labels for projects
-
Submitting mileage reimbursements requests for technicians
-
Importing hours into ADP
-
Prescreen timesheets for corrections
What You Need:
-
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
-
6 months to 1-year Receptionist or administrative support experience, in a professional/corporate office environment
-
50 WPM
-
Word, Excel, Outlook – Intermediate level
-
Must be punctual and have good attendance habits, strong organizational and time management skills
-
Experience with Cisco Phone Systems is preferred
-
Ability to work the required work schedule: Hours are 7:30AM-5:00PM with a 1-hour lunch.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. The position will also require usage of stairs and elevators.
Some of the work may be required on the job site and require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
