Description of Position: The Sales Manager is responsible for marketing the community to prospective residents, maintaining the community census, and coordinating the move-in/move-out process.
Responsibilities of the Senior Living Consultant:
- Responsible for census development.
- Maintain data using computer software (inquiries, admissions, discharges, and referral sources).
- Provide census reports and other requested marketing reports to the Administrator.
- Establish relationships and maintain contact with various clubs, organizations and networking groups.
- Coordinate special events for the facility and the community.
- Provide presentations, speeches, and public appearances as needed.
- Conduct tours and acts as the liaison between the facility and family members during the pre-admission and admission process.
- Works with the Wellness Manager to ensure that all admissions are screened thoroughly and adequately prior to admission. All admissions will be approved by the Administrator.
- Complete admission paperwork with the responsible party, family member, power of attorney or resident upon admission.
- Ensures that the Admission packet is completed in timely and organized manner.
- Make at least 20 outbound calls a day to leads.
- Other duties or services as assigned by supervisor and/or Executive Director.
Position Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a clear criminal background record check.
- Must keep a current certification in emergency first aid and CPR.
- Must have a clear tuberculosis screening upon hire to assure that the employee is free of diseases communicable within the scope of employment.
- Must have a physical examination prior to employment and as required by the Community after an injury or illness to assure that the employee is physically qualified to work.
- Employee must not be under the influence of alcohol or other substances while engaged in any work-related activity on behalf of the Community.
- Employee must wear a name tag at all times while on the property or engaged in any work- related activity on behalf of the Community.
- Able to work various schedules, including weekends, as needed.
