Purpose

We are recruiting an experienced leader to administer the federal, state, and local contracts held by the Kindering and to ensure the highest standards are maintained in Kindering’s programs and administrative policies and procedures.
This is a temporary position with potential for permanent hire, requiring 30 hours of work each week from Monday to Friday, offering 28 total days off per year, inclusive of up to 11 paid holidays. The salary for this position ranges from $23 to $26.50 per hour.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Contract Administration:
- Partner with Accounting team to ensure revenue received is aligned with contract and agency needs.
- Invoice NDC and Fathers Network Grants including procuring and organizing supporting documentation.
- Coordinate CHIF completion.
- Administer the Children with Special Healthcare Needs (CSHCN) Grants.
- Administer Developmental Disabilities Administration Contracts (DDA) for King and Snohomish Counties:
- Provide monthly invoices and supporting documentation for DDA and Part C in accordance with current County DDA and Kindering guidelines.
- Attend and act as a Kindering representative at bi-monthly Contractor meetings.
- Partner with Accounting team to ensure revenue received is aligned with contract and agency needs.
- Administer Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) Contracts:
- Provide monthly invoices and accurate enrollment counts in accordance with King and Snohomish Counties and Kindering guidelines for Part C services.
- Act as Kindering’s point of contact for eligible Part B children and those with approved Extended School Year services at Kindering, including the collection, staff training, distribution of IEPs and monthly invoicing to school districts.
- Attend and act as a Kindering representative at bi-monthly Contract meetings.
- Administer other grants and contracts as required/assigned, including subcontracts.
- Medicaid Administrative Claiming Program Lead:
- Administer Medicaid Administrative Claiming program including monthly invoicing, accounts receivable and quarterly participant management.
- Support annual training program for Random Moment Time Study including scheduling, assigning, coordinating, and supporting a deeper understanding of Random Moments and revenue potential.
- Data and Reporting:
- Produce monthly reports of the agency’s growth, evaluation outcome statistics, family contact time reports, AMA reports and referral statistics for the management team.

Required Education & Experience
- Advanced knowledge and practical experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel.

Minimum Prerequisites
- Demonstrate organizational skills, ability to follow through on assignments on time and with accuracy, provide clear written and verbal communication, keep up-to-date written and electronic documentation.
- Pass Washington State DSHS (Department of Social and Health Services) criminal history and background check and FBI fingerprint check.
- Receipt of satisfactory fingerprint background check results.
- Completion of a satisfactory tuberculosis test.
- Proof of current immunizations including COVID-19 and MMR\*
- Acknowledgement and signature of the Confidentiality Agreements and Mandatory Reporting Agreement.
- Acknowledgement and signature agreeing to abide by the terms and policies in the employee handbook.
Kindering requires those supervising and providing in-person services to children to be vaccinated/ or apply and be approved for a sincerely held religious belief or medical exemption.
