Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Host Person is to ensure complete and unmatched guest service and satisfaction by providing guest requests promptly and accurately, as well as clearly communicating with all team members. It is the primary responsibility of the Food Server to take and deliver customer orders, maintain tables, guest satisfaction, and finalize checks. The food server is also responsible for performing side work and general cleaning of assigned stations.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· Proof of authorization / eligibility to work in the United States.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Must be able to obtain and maintain a Health card, TAM card, Sheriff Card and any other certification or license as required by law or policy.
· 2+ years of high-volume experience in hospitality or food service in an upscale environment, including but not limited to hotel, lounge or restaurant.
· Extensive knowledge of wine, champagne as well as spirits and beer.
· Must be able to understand provided menu, list of ingredients and allergens.
· Effective communication in English, both verbal and written form, in a professional manner is required.
· Must present a neat, professional appearance and demonstrate superior customer service skills.
· Ability to accurately count money and provide change.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail while meeting business demands.
· Position requires interactions and teamwork with guests and co-workers of different skill levels.
· Position requires schedule flexibility which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Practice Sanitation and Safety Principles while in the workplace according to Health Code compliance.
· Knowledge of safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles.
· Ensure proper condition of all equipment and facilities alerting management when repairs are needed.
· Greet every guest with a warm and friendly smile while also making eye contact.
· Ensure guest experience meets brand expectations by working with a positive and energetic attitude.
· Accurately and efficiently take beverage and food order, clearly communicate with bar and kitchen team as well as assist in the preparation or garnish in accordance with company specifications.
· Understanding of Clover POS system functions and proper use of system.
· Serve as ancf ambassador of goodwill while working between guests and back of the house team.
· Maintain clean workspace and well stocked workstations
· Compute bills and accept payments according to company procedures.
· Promote good guest relation and provide excellent guest response to complaints.
· Proper handling of guest issues or complaints and alert management if guest satisfaction is not met.
· Constant and excellent communication with guests, team member and managers to ensure all needs are being met in a professional and timely fashion.
· Must be available for all required training and meetings.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to:
· Lift or carry 50 lbs., unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
· Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, foods, scents, air quality and smoke.
· Must be able to physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
· Must maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance, posture and hygiene in accordance with company standards and the theme of the venue.
· Tattoos, piercings, jewelry and nail art must be kept at a minimum with no visible offense.
· Maintain composure under pressure, meet deadlines and interact appropriately with guests and Team members.
· Able to withstand prolonged standing, walking, bending and reaching.
· Requires eye-hand coordination.
· Require ability to work in fast-paced and busy environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
