We are looking for a Field Support Engineer/Technician to provide customer service and technical support to our customers. The ideal candidate would come from the Gaming industry and holds experience providing service to casinos for electronics devices and systems. Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, install, remove, upgrade, convert and repair Electronic Gaming Devices and or Casino Management Systems.
- Provide assistance to our customers and provide excellent client service.
- Identify issues or problems that may arise in the field and report to Operations and/or Support Desk.
- Gather information, report, and escalate product concerns to Operations Management.
- Maintain all required inventory as required.
- Comply with all safety requirements.
- Able to work under limited/remote supervision for assigned client service matters with additional support when required.
- Comply with the company and industry regulations, requirements, and policies.
- Interface as needed with client and company third-party providers to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- If needed, provide ‘spot’ training on products to clients.
- Provide technical support and assistance at promotional/industry events as requested.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in Information Technology/Computer Engineering is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in technical support for the gaming industry.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of basic electronics, networking, and communication equipment.
- Basic knowledge of support ticketing systems where needed to accept/close service calls.
- Ability to travel as needed (frequency varies by job market).
- Remote location within the USA, ideally on the east coast or central USA.
