Job Description
The Account Manager (TSR) position will be responsible for handling all customer enquiries and current customers in an assigned territory. The Account Manager will also be expected to prospect and grow the customer base to meet an assigned sales budget. The individual will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction from beginning to end of all projects in the assigned territory.
The position requires the ability to handle and prioritize a variety of tasks. Great communication skills, both with the customer and the internal delivery teams, are essential. Keeping track of the stages of each project, responding to customers and team members in a timely manner, and following up to make sure everything is completed properly are key attributes. A basic understanding of on-site operations is needed to ask appropriate questions for quotes, handle potential issues, and ensure projects run smoothly.
Job Responsibilities
Safety

Sales Responsibilities and Duties
· Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and prospective customers in order to understand their needs and to effectively sell the value of A&D’s Services
· Gather appropriate information from customers and prospects and coordinate with the proposal group/project managers for quoting and implementation.
· Develop and implement an annual territory sales plan/budget based on General Manager approval.
· Maintain and grow existing accounts.
· Identify, target, and close new accounts.
· Document all sales activity and opportunities and provide periodic reporting.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- 3+ years of direct sales experience in the Environmental Services Industry
- Highly driven sales professional with a proven track record of high growth
- Direct experience in Emergency Response, Remediation, Field Services, or Waste Disposal required.
- Proficient in proposal writing & project management.
- Ability to effectively present information and answer questions from customers.
- Ability to visualize a project and develop practical solutions to wide variety of situations.
- Ability to interpret instructions and/or blueprints and drawings.
- Must possess a current driver’s license.
- Ability to travel (including overnight) up to 50% of the time.
