Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time
Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our small automotive service and restoration shop - specializing in antique and vintage automobiles.
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, including:
- rebuilding and repairing carburetors and distributors
- parts fabrication including lathe work and welding
- diagnosing drivability issues
- routine maintenance and annual servicing

Responsibilities
- Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate issues
- Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad/shoe replacements
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, ignition, and brakes
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications
- Experience with full restorations and antique/vintage car repair required
- Strong communications skills are required
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills are required
