JOB SUMMARY
Implements and monitors a comprehensive fundraising plan to expand the philanthropic support of the organization. Collaborates with other departments to ascertain clinic needs to help guide strategic plan, program development, and seek appropriate grants. Ensures youth and fitness programming are in alignment with the clinic’s mission and health promotion goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Oversees and ensures effective and efficient operations of the Development Department including all fundraising, grant writing and grant management, community development, strategic planning, youth programming development.
Oversees and ensures effective and efficient operations and budget compliance of grant funded programs and youth activity programming. Works closely with CFO on budgets.
Maintains accurate and up to date policy and procedure manuals associated with all business functions of assigned areas. Ensures policies are followed.
Performs grant writing and grant research.
Assists other departments with reporting and technical issues as appropriate.
Leads strategic planning process, ensures leadership engagement.
Provides administrative and advocacy support for Chief Executive Officer.

Bachelor’s degree in related field required or commensurate work experience in non-profit administration, business administration, or communications.

5+ years’ experience in similar position with progressively increasing responsibility and staff supervision.

Ability to lead a team to accomplish department goals and objectives effectively and efficiently.

Fundraising software and computer skills expertise.
