Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Duties:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready for use
- Assist surgeons during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration
- Evaluate patients' post-operative conditions and provide appropriate care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license and BLS certification
- Previous experience in an operating room setting preferred
- Proficiency in patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks or similar electronic health record systems
- Ability to perform tube feedings and ostomy care
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies such as CT scans
- Experience in senior care, dementia care, and primary care is a plus
- Skill in esthetic laser treatments would be advantageous
