The Californian on Wilshire HOA has an opening for One Full-time Access Control position. All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and a pre-employment drug screen. Candidates must have a valid California Driver license and at least 2 years Access Control and/or Valet parking experience, preferably in a High-rise Luxury Condominium. This role requires both front desk and valet responsibilities.
The salary range between $35,000 - $40,000 annually plus a very competitive health benefit plan.

Front Desk / Access Control Job Description
- Customer service oriented, qualified applicants will deliver excellent customer service to residents and guests.
- Possess excellent communications skills, both over the phone and in person.
- Knowledge to operate multiline telephone systems, PC, Copy and Fax machines.
- Required to learn and operate the property management software “Building Link” and other similar programs.
- You must have knowledge of driving exotic cars because there are valet responsibilities both during your regular shift and during special events as needed.
- You will announce every guest after verifying their permission to enter status and direct them to the correct elevator and door.
- You will forward all requests regarding cars to valet and take work orders for maintenance requests for housekeeping and engineering.
- You will be expected to assist our homeowners with outgoing parcels, arranging for vehicle service, dinner reservations, and other concierge style items.
- You will accept and log deliveries, promptly notify the recipient and offer to arrange for delivery by valet or access control.
- You will read the shift log through Building Link at the beginning of your shift, follow up on pending requests and log in information that needs to be passed on.
- You will be expected to assist all managers with any special projects that may require Front Desk assistance and all departments with any information requested.
- You will attend training and be expected to respond and direct others during an emergency. You will be provided with training in emergency procedures for water leaks, fire, and earthquakes. You will be expected to understand how to answer the elevator emergency telephone line, the exterior door (first level) speakers, the penthouse & junior penthouse “method C” speakers and the stairwell intercoms.
- You must maintain confidentiality about residents’ activities at ALL times, even from other residents. A nondisclosure agreement is required for all team members.
