**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist/Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in bookkeeping, with expertise in accounts payable, purchase orders, general ledger reconciliation and payroll. QuickBooks experience is a must. Must be able to multi-task; we have a busy office that needs a team player that will also take customer orders (in person and by phone) and enter orders.
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage accounts payable processes from invoice receipt to payment disbursement
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Utilize technical accounting skills to analyze financial information and resolve discrepancies
- Purchase Agent abilities - email purchase orders, keep track of materials and order office supplies
- Take customer orders (in person and by phone). Knowledge of building materials is a plus, but not a requirement.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in accounts payable and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in using QUICKBOOKS accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze accounts and financial data
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal departments and external customers and vendors

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.5 – 47.5 per week
