As the Production Coordinator you will be scheduling production for injection molding machines, communicating the schedule with our customer, generating/printing work orders, generating/printing shipping documents, and directing the production team on the schedule. You will also be directing shipping and material handlers to load product on to trucks. Understand and help monitor quality of the parts produced.
Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Plan and draw up a production schedule
- Confirm inventory is accurate. Numbers will need to match SharePoint and IQMS.
o Monitor daily Finished Goods inventory in the Plant.
o Use Excel and IPCC’s SharePoint software, communicate with customers on product completion
- Provide customer with 1 week worth of production dates
- Coordinate like colors in the schedule
o Organize production schedule to combine active orders – develop longer production cycles
- Enter purchase orders into our manufacturing software
o Document new orders in IQMS (IPCC’s manufacturing software)
- Provide the production team with enough work orders for a minimum of 72 hours.
o Provide lead times for the production team and customers.
- Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory.
- Collaborating with internal departments to provide components ahead of schedule.
- Provide production with correct paperwork for shipping
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Monitor productivity rates and product standards and implement quality control programs.

- Flexible schedule – working partial Saturdays regularly or possibly Sunday on occasion to make sure product is shipped properly
