Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care efficiently and effectively.
Duties:
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and sterilize medical instruments.
- Assist in patient education and provide support for patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, billing, and coding.
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy.
- Knowledge of physiology and basic life support techniques.
- Ability to perform X-Rays is a plus.
- Competency in medication administration.
- Strong coding skills for accurate documentation.
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification.
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
