Job Summary:

To work in conjunction with Executive Offices staff and volunteers to support marketing and overall communication initiatives.

To perform assigned duties in conformity with the Constitution and policies of Delta Gamma Fraternity and Foundation.
Essential Functions:
-
Maintain all Fraternity social media platforms
-
Monitor and respond on all social media platforms
-
Assist in developing strategies to increase social media readership and following to increase brand recognition and affinity
-
Use digital media to include photography/videography and editing for all social media and website accounts
-
Coordinate filming and photo sessions with local chapters/groups
-
Analyze social media campaigns and compile engagement analytics
-
Collaborate to create new initiatives for social media
-
Assist with new chapter establishment social media strategy and execution
-
Work with local chapters and groups to utilize and build their communications
-
Assist in monitoring social media crises
-
Be familiar with and help enforce all aspects of the Delta Gamma brand guidelines, social media policy and DG Style Guide
-
Support photo management
-
Support social media needs for Delta Gamma events
-
Support submission to ANCHORA
-
Assist in library document creation and updates
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
1-3 years experience through internships or professional roles
-
Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive environments where belonging is valued
-
The individual should be able to craft and execute tasks with creativity, style and attention to detail

Knowledge and understanding of social media best practices, trends and platforms
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Suite

Strong copyediting abilities, including knowledge of AP style

Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration with others

Responds to all communication in a timely, friendly and accommodating manner
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or a related field
