We are Home Care Agency with an office located in Northridge, CA. Our staff provides in-home services to seniors throughout the valley and surrounding areas.
We are looking for certified Caregivers to join our team and help deliver excellent care to our clients in the comfort and safety of their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assists clients with activities of daily living (ADL)
- Remind clients to take medication
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
- Assist the client in shopping or complete their shopping for them.
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Engage client in meaningful conversations and socialization.
- Report any unusual incidents or changes
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
- Document activities through our CMR system (ClearCare)
Skills
- Proven experience as a caregiver preferred
- Knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Los Angeles, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
